Breakfast with the Minister
Kids Breakfast with Rev. Steve 9am Every Saturday Morning: Toast, Juice, Conversation, and a little religion. Designed to be free flowing a mix of social time and religious education, Steve will have prepared a conversation about topical and spiritual, and moral matters, but often the meeting is dominated by the interests of the kids themselves. Expect this 45 minutes to be a fun and informative moment to kick off the weekend. There is no particular age group target for this zoom meeting, and lessons will be based on the children and ages that attend. I will begin with chalice lighting, a short story, and a lesson followed by discussion. Think of it as Sunday school with cereal. See pacificunitarian.org for the zoom connections.

Young Explorers Religious Education
This month in RE we’ll be doing some fun projects with the kids. We will paint some “love rocks” and leave them randomly around Braintree so they will brighten someone’s day and the finders can pass them on. We’ll make bracelets to remind the children of UU principles. We’ll make “maps” of the childrens’ hearts and talk about what they hold closest to them. I’ll present the kids with YOU ARE jars, filled with positive affirmations to remind them how wonderful and loved they are.

Memorial Day RE Bar-Be-Que
